Workout with me at 7 months 🤰 Since my camera roll is now only filled with baby pictures, might as well take you through my little journey! We are often told by our elders to stay at home and rest, to not exercise, eat for two, load up on sugars for strength, or just completely cut out carbs if one is diagnosed with gestational diabetes during pregnancy. Truth be told, all of the above are myths, there is no such thing as eating for two while the notion may state and it is evident that your childs nutrition depends on you, however you do not need to double the amount of food you eat, you should eat as your heart desires and just like any other day and stop eating when you feel full. Another notion and the biggest misconception is that pregnant women should NOT exercise! However, Doctors only encourage women to workout regularly or as they deem fit during pregnancy to avoid complications, promotes a healthy pregnancy and helps with a relatively easier labour process. Women are real life super Heroes! You are growing a human, you are strong and resilient. That’s how Allah has created a woman! I am truly inspired by all the mothers out there who are juggling family, children, career and household tasks! You deserve the world 🫶🥰
