Win or lose, I’ll always fight from my heart, I’ll always fight to make my people and my country proud. This win was for you. I’m a proud child of India, and all I wanted to do was show the world we belong here. Thank you @kingoflions_ for leading the way, we promise everyone we won’t stop trying to show them that we can.
We fight in a sport where people don’t believe we belong, who think that MMA is not the sport for us. We are here to say we will prove them wrong. Will it be easy, not at all. Will we die trying, always. Win, lose or draw we will fight with all our heart, and die in there if we have too.
People will ask what the big deal is, for myself and Anshul fighting in the UFC. They will make up reasons why we won’t belong. Why we don’t deserve to win. All I’ll say, is we leave that to the UFC, our job is to show up, give our heart and soul and hope for the best outcome. We are fighting against the best fighters in the world at UFC. We know what we are up against, that our country is up against, and for that I’m grateful for all those who support us always. I appreciate all of you.
