This UNESCO World Heritage town in Puglia is famous for its Trulli — cone-roofed houses built entirely without mortar. These stone homes date back to the 14th century and were once designed to be easily dismantled to avoid taxes!
In just a few hours, we:
• Wandered through quiet Trulli lanes under the morning moon
• Learned about their fascinating architecture and history
• Explored charming local shops inside the Trulli
• Tried local wines, fig jams & olive oil
• Soaked in that golden morning light that made the whole town glow
Tip: We stayed in an actual Trulli at @tipicoresortalbergo — and highly recommend spending a night (or two!) here instead of doing a day trip.
Waking up early and catching the peaceful streets before the crowds arrive? 100% worth it.
