My visits to Ujjain Mahakal were exactly that: deeply personal, profoundly moving, and unexpectedly magical. They arn’t just spiritual pilgrimages; they are milestones in my life, marking a shift from confusion to clarity, from surrender to gratitude.
Back in May, I found myself at Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain, feeling utterly lost. I didn’t know what I wanted or where my life was headed. My mind was clouded with uncertainty, and I felt like I was carrying a weight I couldn’t put down.
And so, I did. I stood there, closed my eyes, and surrendered — my doubts, my fears, my need to control everything.
Walking out of the temple, I didn’t magically have all the answers, but I felt lighter, freer. I didn’t need to know everything anymore. I trusted that things would unfold as they should, and that was enough.
As I entered the temple, the powerful chants and the intense energy of the place immediately engulfed me. It felt as though Lord Mahakal was telling me, “Why are you carrying all this? Just let it go and trust me.”
