Each scene on every job we try from two to twenty different things, sometimes only to be worn for a few seconds’ screen-time. It is difficult not to pay attention, not to see beauty in how things work and what it takes to feel comfortable; the right balance of heavy and soft, with natural fibres always giving more than man made stuff …or simply a pocket that’s big enough.
I think it’s exciting; this wanting to create things that feel good. I have huge gratitude to my @carriercompanyuk team and to every costume designer I’ve ever worked with.
