Thank you for being an integral part of my family.
I remember you and T designing my wedding bands and planning my surprise engagement with dad, T and Coco in Madrid. You called the next morning to find out if all went well. I said ‘Aunty Jenna as we speak I’m only wearing your diamonds right now in my birthday suit having a mimosa with my fiance!’ We all packed out laughing and immediately started designing our wedding bands with you over the next couple of months.
I remember you calling saying ‘Darling True Love has called and they want you in my diamonds and pearls for the cover. We’re going to shoot it at the Michael Angelo Towers and don’t worry I’ll have a thousand body guards there to make you feel safe!’ Which you did and then you hung up that masterpiece at your entrance. You’ve been there through my rough times too. Forcing me out of bed in my darkest times with KayaFM. You’d call and say ‘Be here in an hour I’m making you oxtail.’ We’d sit in silence in your kitchen and you’d just let the tears run down my face whilst pouring your heart into that pot of love.
This year you’d call and counsel me about losing dad but would also give me the space that I oh so needed. All this time you were saying goodbye to us all.
