i remember the first time i questioned my sexuality, it was in 3rd grade and i was petrified. i was raised catholic and being gay was a mega sin. i found comfort in knowing that while i was attracted to women, i was still attracted to men. i had no idea that being bisexual was even a thing. all i knew was gay or straight, and that being gay was bad and sinful. i spent a lot of years coming to terms with my sexuality and getting rid of that religious guilt. i remember begging god to still love me despite how i felt about women. i felt like i was evil and that it was karma for something i must’ve done. it took so many years to learn to accept myself and understand myself and im so grateful to be where im at now with myself. i lived in los angeles for 12 years where its very accepting and not out of the ordinary to be queer, but moving back to the midwest has been hard and very eye opening. there is still a lot of work to be done. i encourage all my queer friends and allies to step up, as we need it now more than ever. love is and will always be, love. happy pride babes ♥️ i love you so much.
