Diane Guerrero Instagram – I’m beaming with joy!!
My debut in Mario Correa’s N/A at @barringtonstage has been a beautiful and transformative experience. We’ve got three shows left, and as I reflect on this first dive into theater, I’m moved by how much this process has changed me as an artist.
N/A imagines a fictional meeting between two women in American politics one a powerful Speaker of the House, the other a newly elected insurgent. It’s sharp, tense, and urgent. And performing it now in a moment of deep political crisis, rising fascism, racist state violence, and the slow erosion of our rights feels electric and necessary.
Playing “A” was a metamorphosis. It challenged everything I thought I knew about myself and reminded me that art is a way to resist and to awaken.
