You taught me a lot and you were one of the cleverest people I’d ever met but not in an intimidating way, you just were so interested in everything and everyone and you loved to share that. I remember one night in Tuscany you asked me what I wanted to be when I grow up and I said I want to be an actress and you nodded and said “I look forward to that.” You had the ability to make people feel like they were so special and your tenderness in that moment was truly formative for me. You and Philippa showed me a world that was pretty alien to me and made my dreams feel like they could be a reality one day, I’m forever thankful for that. Philippa, Bella and Jacob were everything to you and I know they made you so proud. I love you very much Al, you were so cool, I’ll never forget you and I’ll miss you legend.
