“Ricordo la prima videocall da New York con Tami Stronach. Ero così emozionato! Come tutta la mia generazione, anche io ero cresciuto guardando “La Storia Infinita” e ora stavo parlando con l’imperatrice bambina in persona. Tami è una persona straordinaria, ha affrontato mille sfide per produrre “Man and Witch” e nonostante riceva centinaia di proposte di collaborazione, dopo aver visto alcuni video GoPractical ha accettato di venire a in Italia e girare insieme questo corto pensato appositamente per la mostra.
Lavorare con Tami sul set pensando che l’ultima volta era stata diretta da Wolfgang Petersen che era un perfezionista, mi ha messo – lo ammetto – un po’ di pressione, ma Tami è un’attrice incredibile, ti capisce con uno sguardo, ti legge dentro e ti regala una performance che ti rapisce e resti lì, incantato, e non vorresti più dover dare lo “STOP!”.
Grazie a Tami e a una troupe di professionisti straordinari, GoPractical ha realizzato una produzione che ha toccato il cuore sia di chi era sul set, sia di chi ha visto il risultato finale alla mostra!

“I remember the first video call from New York with @tamistonach_ . I was so excited! Like my entire generation, I had grown up watching “The Neverending Story” and now I was talking to the childlike empress herself. Tami is an extraordinary person, she faced a thousand challenges to produce @manandwitchfilm and despite receiving hundreds of proposals for collaboration, after watching some GoPractical’s videos agreed to come to Italy and shoot this short together, created specifically for the exhibition.
Working with Tami on the set, thinking that the last time she had been directed by Wolfgang Petersen who was a perfectionist, put me – I admit – a bit of pressure, but Tami is an incredible actress, she understands you with a look, she reads you and gives you a performance that captivates you and you remain there, enchanted, and you never want to have to call “CUT!” again
