This is 40 🙂 I woke up today, on the first day of my 40th year on this earth with a weird shoulder and back pain that I’ve never felt before. And I thought: Oh, so this is it… this is 40? The age almost every woman dreads — where the clock supposedly starts ticking louder, where the weight you gain is here to stay, where you become that “old person” who needs to take her pill with her meal. The age I used to think was old… Well, I’m one of those people now. But when I started thinking what does 40 really mean to me, I realized the beauty of it. It’s the age where I’m done accepting bullshit. Done people-pleasing. Done proving myself to anyone but me. It’s the age where I’m proud of my accomplishments, where I know my worth. The age where a small circle of genuine, quality people is all I truly need. The age where a cozy night with a loved one combined with good food and a great TV show is happiness. 40 is freedom!! Happy 40th to me — feeling blessed 🙂

In 2013 Tima founded her own company “Filmizion Productions”, a Film and TV production company based in Amman – Jordan. Through Filmizion Productions Tima has created multiple hit shows, including “FemaleShow” that was an instant regional success and was one of the most viewed shows in Jordan and the region at its time of release with 100 Million views up to date. The show has produced three seasons, the third and final season was released in 2016. Tima’s most recent work is The Award winning Netflix Original “AlRawabi School for Girls” Produced by Filmizion Productions. Tima is the Creator, Showrunner and Director of the show. Season one was released in 2021 and Season two in February 2024. The series was in the top 10 TV shows on Netflix for more than three weeks in 43 countries around the world. The second season has been crowned Best Levant Series at the Joy Awards 2025. Tima has a BA in Business Administration and Finance and an MFA from The Red Sea Institute of Cinematic Arts – where she majored in screenwriting and producing. Tima was named as one of the most influential young Arabs in the world by Arabian Business Magazine for multiple years and in 2025, she was on the list of The Arabian Business 100 Most Inspiring Women. Tima was also on the Variety list of the Most Impactful women in Global entertainment in 2022. And in 2023 she was on The Esquire 40: The Arabs who are changing Film & TV.
