The idea of women needing men to be happy was probably introduced to keep the patriarchy intact — to keep women dependent on their partners for basic necessities, so they don’t realize their potential.
However, times are different now. Women have opportunities to do anything they want to. Though the bias is still very much alive, it can’t and shouldn’t stop you from reaching your potential. You are worthy of achieving everything on your own. You don’t need a rich prince or daddy’s money — you can make your own and spend it your way. And when you think you have, and you’re happy with yourself and your life, then find a man who supports you in being the best version of yourself.
