The Renters’ Rights Bill will level the playing field between landlord and tenant. It will deliver much needed change and will improve the system for the 11 million private renters in England. #RentersRights
Thanks to our Plan for Change and our commitment to build 1.5 million homes, as well as new railways, schools and hospitals, we need to secure our steel making capacity in the UK. On Saturday the government stepped in to save British Steel and to protect 2,700 jobs in Scunthorpe and another 37,000 jobs in the supply chain. The Deputy Prime Minister @angelaraynermp met with steel workers in Scunthorpe today to show the government’s support for the community.
Fantastic to meet with the wonderful children at Palace Fields Primary in Runcorn with Labour’s local candidate Karen Shore. Karen is already working with government to deliver free breakfast clubs so pupils in Runcorn can start the day ready to learn.
