Wow! What an experience for a group of Yalies, who got together for the first time and are now friends!
Shelly Rivas ’06 shared, “Last night’s event watching the spectacular Buena Vista Social Club on Broadway was magical and it was made even more special with our opportunity to meet cast members after the show. Connecting with other members of 1stGenYale was invigorating, as always. I look forward to more of these events and am grateful there is a space like this within the greater alumni community.”
Sixteen Yalies had a blast totally moved by the beauty, emotions, and music of this new smash hit, followed by a talkback with Leonardo Reyna, Wesley Wray, Martin Sola, and Carlos Gonzalez from the show. Then we all enjoyed a Cuban dinner at Victor’s Cafe.
