Chloe Chua Instagram – It All Started With Big Dreams when I decided to become a concert violinist around the age of 7. My violin teacher Mr Yin Ke from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts started preparing me to take part in violin competitions then.
In 2018, at 11 years old, I was shortlisted by the prestigious Menuhin Competition to fly to Geneva to compete in the Junior Category. There were 3 rounds of competition. I got into the Finals and was awarded joint 1st prize. It was a huge surprise to me and I rocketed from there! I started to receive invitations to perform overseas. Last year, I was named the Artist-In-Residence by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. The title comes with a series of concerts and recordings of 2 CD albums.
