I’m sure many of us have looked at a friend and said those exact words. Whether it was because the friend felt low about their appearance, or was going through a hard time.
I’ve also been lucky enough to have friends echo those words to me when I’ve felt low.
@audiethorn and I have known each other for over a decade.
And I’ve happily taken her photo many times over those years so when she asked if I’d take new portraits of her I lit up.
We’ve seen eachother through many ups and downs over the years.
And one of the reasons I love photographing my friends is because it’s a tangible and active way for me to show them the quoted words above.
Not the last photos I’ll share of my sweet friend, but one of my favorites especially because she wasn’t 100% sure I was capturing anything worth sharing in this moment and I love proving my friends wrong in this gentle photographic way 💛
