What’s that saying about asking for forgiveness, not permission? Yeah… about that. 😬 #Matlock’s 2-hour season finale is tonight and everything doesn’t go by the book… #LeahLewis #KathyBates #SkyePMarshall #DavidDelRio #TVShow #SeasonFinale #OfficeLife
June 2025 Firenze – Nikon FE – WarmPorta400 35mm It was hard for me to choose which would be the first photo. I love the cleanness of the second photo in the Oltrarno district, but it also took me a good 10 minutes to capture this lovely man without appearing obvious. He really spiked my curiosity. I rerouted the whole second half of my trip to get a taste of more here. From morning to night, I walked my knees into a cobblestoned mess that I’m still cleaning up after now that I’ve been back. I don’t regret a thing. I reached for so much while I was here and it gave every moment back to me in full through flavor, communication, art, people and details. The brilliant thing about film is you don’t have to do a thing at all for it all to burst on through. You barely have to touch photos and even then, sometimes it even looks like a cheap perfect version of the original. I LOVE FIRENZE AND ITS COLORS #NikonFE #35mmfilm

Every new season of change calls for an update. Every time I find myself mastering a flow with the keys to the pearly gates, the natural rhythm of things shakes it all up and makes me question the kind of gate it is when I haven’t mentally updated who is holding the key. Things I liked last year may not be what I gravitate towards this year and that can be a really jarring thing when your joy starts to pivot to different things that give you security or meaning. If anything though, I think the shift is a great time to welcome in in curiosity and possibility of a new self in the grieving period over the death of an era. I am constantly at the drawing board while keeping in mind the value of the last period’s work. Things change, I change, and the more life I live the more things are illuminated or cast aside. The cost of living is receiving and releasing. When finding security in the things we love that may change, I always ask, how does one find true security in the self that is the constant but ever changing with our circumstances? ♡ Photos: @dche And her talented self capturing me in some of the first weeks of moving into this space. She’s a warrior when it comes to beating daylight and the darkness of my house actually turned out to be the perfect way to capture this space. Check her work out.

We are coming up on some of the final episodes of Matlock season 1 on @cbstv. The other day at @paleycenter, we had one of the most comfortable and familial panels possible. Water spilling, people cackling, precious stories shared. Yes this cast loves to have fun, but I’ve learned that our audience does as well. I think that’s really what this show brings out in people in lieu of some of the hard emotions and tones we explore in this show. The dualities of the human experience. 🎭 I just want to say thank you to anybody who has watched and have been through it with these characters. This show is so special from the top down and you’re in for a big surprise with the last couple of episodes.
