All jokes aside, I feel like every pride post is uploaded in a time where hatred towards our community is at an all time high. The fact that saying “trans rights are human rights” has any pushback is still fucking BAFFLING to me. The venom and malice and violence centered around people who are just existing never fails to be both enraging and heartbreaking. I’m so goddamn lucky I can proudly scream my bisexuality at the top of my lungs while there are those who are forced to stay in the closet, forced to feel uncomfortable in their bodies, or forced to never speak up out of fear of being physically harmed.
