However, amidst all the chaos, I witnessed a different side of Kashmir – the incredible hospitality of its locals. From hotel owners @frozenfallbypalwasha to staff and local police officers, they went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. As tourists, we were understandably frightened and panicked by the situation, but the locals’ kindness and warmth made us feel protected and cared for. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people of Kashmir, who treated us like family and provided a safe environment despite the turmoil. Their compassion and resilience are truly commendable. I’m consumed by sorrow for the families who have lost their dear ones. The thought of their grief and suffering is unbearable.
