Her influences read like a Criterion Channel fever dream — Bertolucci, Tarkovsky, Gaspar Noé — but her real education has come from making do, paying attention, and refusing to be shaped by the industry’s expectations. She’s not asking to be let in. She’s already rewriting the form from the inside.
