Headphones – not just for music, but my defense against chilli winds! They keep the cold out of my ears and the headaches away. As for the lollipop, let’s just say it’s my way of keeping a check on my jaw (and my smoking). Anti-depressants have had me clenching like a boxer, and at one point, I was smoking 40 a day (and I am not a smoker at all, I had quit smoking in 2015). I know not exactly the health plan! So, I traded cigarettes for a sweet fix. Plus, with Lahore’s smog and a touch of asthma, lollipops are my MVP these days.❄️ Also I’m prepping for a project in December which inshallah I’ll be producing, means hitting a target weight and watching every bite. So here’s the scoop! Maybe now you’ll understand why I’ve got the lollipop and headphones as my new daily essentials. Keep the critiques coming, but maybe with a little more context now? 🙏🏼 You see, I’ve been feeling more anxious over the past month and can’t seem to sit still, so I keep a few things around me to help me stay distracted, music, the mountains, and even lollipops, you could say (LOL). And before anyone gives me a lecture on what I should be listening to, rest assured, I’m following all your recommendations. Honestly, it’s been a help. Allah has His own ways of showing miracles, and I’m incredibly grateful to Him. 🤲🏻 As I type this, my hands are shaking, not from the cold, but from the anxiety. But I know I’ll be alright soon. My faith hasn’t wavered, and I’m certain He’ll set everything right for me. I’m grateful for everything I have in this moment. 🤍
