FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS TO STARDOM
Born in Lamberi near the Line of Control in Jammu, Arjumman Mughal’s journey to success has been nothing short of inspiring. The daughter of an army officer, she had the courage to dream beyond boundaries. Starting her career as a model at the tender age of 14, she worked with top brands like Visa Credit Card (International), Moonstar Cosmetics, Big Bazaar, FutureBazaar.com, and ICICI Privilege Banking, among many others.
However, her true calling was acting, and she moved to Mumbai to pursue her passion. She trained under industry veterans, including the esteemed Anupam Kher’s Acting institute, Actor Prepare’s, Nadira Babbar’s ekjute theter, & acting workshop with anand Mishra, she got trained in dance – kathak lucknow garhana by Habiba Master. kathak Banaras garhana with Nrityakala by Madhu , bollywood contemporary by sudakar dance classes, western dance by Krishna dance classes,) they all refined her craft and now she is preparing herself for the big screen.
A Star on the Rise
Arjumman’s big break came with her debut film “Ya Rab” (Amreen), which earned her prestigious awards such as the Shourya Award and Ambedkar Award for her stellar performance. Over the years, she has won more than 100 awards national & international awards, including the International Women’s Achievement Award (2012).
