If you’re going through a big change- 1. The New will force you to make space for it. Shed some skin, drop some baggage, leave some people behind, release some ties. Invite it, be curious about it, let it change your world. You are still you. Upgrading. 2. The Old will fight to stay. It’s made a home, and you’re banishing it. Expect some pushback. Dig in your heels, hold your ground, don’t let past programming take over- if you slip, hold onto the safety jackets you left around in a previous life. We have a higher knowing, trust it. Sometimes the jacket is only you, it’s only a thought, it’s only a feeling- you’ll be surprised at how buoyant that alone can be. Do what it takes to float back to the surface. Drowning isn’t allowed, you know that’s not happening. Ditch the dead weight. Put an end to the suffocation. 3. The Transition will bring some chaos. Updates typically require more battery, some rebooting, misplacing some data, some time in darkness. Let it happen. Sing, breathe, count the tiles, clean your room, read a book, dance, let the good part of your 5 year old self take the wheel. Believe that you’ll be surprised and you will. Whatever phase you’re in, it’s temporary. That is the most bittersweet truth of all. Wield it to your advantage 🙂

Tbh, I’ve tried before but needles freak me out so much that I’ve never been able to fully go through with anything of this sort. This isn’t a pure invasive or permanent procedure but it’s the farthest I’ve gone and I wanted to share my experience with you. I highly recommend taking out extra time for a proper consultation with the lovely @payal_jain12 at @thefaceco.in who after much research, I found to be the best fit for me. They didn’t rush me, push me or judge me for being scared! I asked way more questions than you see here and they held me hand through the whole thing. Honestly, it was faster than I thought and not nearly as painful as I had anticipated. I’ve got a few more sessions and some healing time left before it manifests into the brows I was always meant to have.
