Ditipriya Roy Instagram – Back to back sleepless nights, countless drafts, and long discussions with my supervisor, the wild journey of my dissertation has finally come to an end. I submitted my paper yesterday, officially marking the completion of my master’s degree. I’m truly grateful to my professors, supervisor, friends, and family for their unwavering support but I’m especially thankful to those who once believed I wouldn’t even finish 10th grade because of my profession. Their doubts only fueled my determination to reach this goal. Today, I stand proud — I’ve completed my master’s degree as a regular student, and that’s a personal achievement I’ll always hold close. Onward to higher studies, wish me luck!

Yesterday, as I spent what was technically my last day at university, she walked in as a newly appointed assistant professor. It was an absolute proud moment, not just for me, but for her as well. From being my tutor to becoming a professor at the same university where I completed my master’s — life truly came full circle.
