For the first time, I hosted my own party — planned it, decorated, smiled through the nerves — and somewhere in between, I realized how much I’ve grown. But I also felt the ache. I missed my family with every candle I lit, with every laugh I shared. No video call can replace the comfort of home.
Still, my heart is full. Full of gratitude — for the strength I didn’t know I had, for the love I received from you all, and for this life I’m learning to build on my own.
