To be able to do something that makes you unapologetically happy, satisfied, and even joyous doesn’t come often. From those words – “Let’s do theatre again?” – to trying foolish things with enthusiasm, to thinking we might have a play, and finally running houseful shows, what a journey! No matter how many times I watch BBBP, the spirit always stands still- long enough to rewind all those memories attached to it. I know we are a group of people who still feel too much like frauds to handle some success. But I feel this fullness inside me, which makes me want to celebrate! To celebrate this bunch of humans (and the entire BBBP team) who constantly fought a war with the values of compassion, hard work, and friendship. I’m sure it’s quite hard to believe (for the outside world) the kind of energy we share as a group. Maybe that’s the magic of theatre! And in a world that constantly knocks you down for being real, this is a reminder that it is possible! Thank you, Kunju and Ools, for letting your intuition guide you and for following that intuition fearlessly. I’m a proud FRIEND!
