Lindsey, you brought wayyy more than talent to set – you brought grace, humor, and the kind of professionalism that raises the bar for everyone around you. Honestly, the way you showed up might’ve ruined me for future shoots… in the best way.
Quick side note: On day two of filming, we had a bit of a crisis – one of the key scenes from the previous day got accidentally deleted. Gone for good.
After the reset, you stepped back in with the same strength and nailed it once more. Knowing how much pressure we were under, you showed up with that kind of generosity that says, “I’ve got you.”
It was a joy spending time and working with you, Lindsey. I wish you all the love and magic in this next chapter – you’re going to be an incredible mom. @linzzmorgan 🩷
PS. Some people have asked why I named the main character “Julie.” The name is a tribute to the late twin sister of our producer, Jolene. It felt right to honor her in this way. Jolene continues to carry her sister’s legacy through her non-profit @friendsofjulie, which created the very program that supported this film.
PPS. The moment that scene got wiped taught me a lot – especially watching you, @jolene_rodriguez_ handle it so calmly with a clear solution in hand. Instead of getting stuck, you pushed me to act. We are all human, mistakes happen, but moving towards a solution fast and keeping it together is what matters. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and lifting others up. It does not go unnoticed.
