🫶 But as I grew up and realized, it is only insecure people who have to put up a facade and act like someone they are not, so I started voicing my opinion and becoming proud of what people had tried to tell me was bad or shameful:
I am now very proudly:
💛 Religious — I love god and I pray every single day
💛 Parents — I ask their permission and opinion for everything even at this age
💛Accounts — I check my spending and no matter how much money I have now, I still track all my expenses
💛 Alcohol — I have never tasted alcohol and it doesn’t make me any less cooler at a party
💛 Ayurveda — I live by Ayurveda and Indian remedies. I reach for turmeric the minute I am sick and share it with the world.
I am deși, I am cultured, and I am extremely proud of it! 💐🤗
Don’t let anyone make you feel otherwise. Once you start acting like who you are —
👉🏾you will find people who love and appreciate you for WHO u are not someone you’re forced to be and life will be beautiful and so will those relationships!
