At least 147 people, mostly children, have already died of hunger.
Under international pressure, Israel has started dropping small amounts of aid from the sky – but last week destroyed the contents of over 1,000 aid trucks after letting the supplies rot just outside Gaza.
One Palestinian responded to the IPC’s warning: “When people are already dead, that’s when you start saying people are dying?”
