Shiri Appleby Instagram – I directed my 1st episode of TV on UnReal and Monica Barbaro really hung around to absorb as much as she could, in scenes she was in and arriving on set during her off days. She was always so interested in process and learning that it’s no surprise she’s nominated this weekend for her completely immersive role in The Complete Unknown. I brought my daughter, who was 3 at the time, to set so in case my directing was a one time thing she would always have remembered being there when Mommy was calling the shots :). Wishing all the nominees a huge congratulations this weekend. I’ll also congratulate anyone who had a job in Hollywood this year.
