It’s taken me about 3–4 weeks to finish this one.
I’ve never cried so much while reading a book. I often get emotional, but this was heartbreak beyond imagination — emotionally devastating and utterly shattering. The relentless trauma left me stunned. There were moments I had to close the book, drink a glass of water, take deep breaths, and gather myself before I could continue.
It’s not a light read. Not for the faint-hearted. And yet, it’s one of the most extraordinary pieces of writing I’ve ever experienced — detailed, unflinching, unforgettable.
