For 7 straight days, Rio turns into one giant dance floor– streets shut down, music blasts from every corner, and millions of people just LET LOOSE. No stress, no judgment – just pure joy, colors, and chaos
And the Samba Parade?? OMG. People train for an entire YEAR, making 30kg costumes, building insane floats, and dancing like their life depends on it. I was shook at how GRAND it all was.
But the best part? I felt so safe. Even in the biggest crowd I’ve ever been in, the energy was just warm, happy, and electric. Ofc you need to be safe from pickpockets etc, but as a woman – damn it felt amazing. People look out for each other, and the love for life here is UNREAL.
I came here to check off a bucket list experience, but I left with a whole new outlook on life. Dance like no one’s watching, live like there’s no tomorrow, and if you ever get the chance to be in Rio for Carnival – TAKE IT.🇧🇷🔥
