Amanda Brugel Instagram – One year ago, a first-time feature Director, sent me a lovely video message inviting me to be in her first feature. Two days ago, the film premiered at @tiff_net to a standing ovation and a mountain of praise. Grateful to have experienced the innate magic and power and grace of Indigenous creators like @msevathomas. Grateful to be surrounded by Indigenous, female department heads. Grateful to have @shawnydoyle as the Bonnie to my Clyde…yet again. Star Slade steals the entire film. I’m overwhelmingly proud.
