This is Amazing Who would have thought a little girl training jiu-jitsu through a government program in Pojuca , Bahia Brazil would become a two time UFC champion and I would be here today. UFC was always a goal But I didn’t know how long it was going to take. But, I knew I would be here one day. I just kept training and fought in other promotions until I got the call. The UFC gave me a career and helped me with my insecurities and made me strong for things that I thought one day I would struggle with. One of the hardest struggles was to be able to share my personal life and the family that I built. This is my Family. Thank God I believed and I never gave up, I didn’t do this alone, I had to surround myself with great coaches and gyms throughout my career, I want to say thank you and share this trophy with Daniel Vitor that was my first coach and saw a talent in me at a young age, Then Edson Carvalho gym, especially to Ricardo Carvalho, Sensei Mascote, and Gilmar Mota MMA Master American Top Team. special thanks to Roger Krahl who is still with me today and my training partner Lamar Brown Last, I want to say thank you to The UFC, Dana, Hunter all the Fans.
