It’s not her fault—it’s just that the actress disappears so fully into the characters she plays that it’s hard to see where she ends and the Type-A blondes you love to hate (and then maybe love again?!) begin.
“I’m not afraid of being unlikable,” says Camp, whose memorable characters include #PitchPerfect’s rigid a cappella leader Aubrey Posen, #TrueBlood’s religious zealot Sarah Newlin, and, most recently, as twin sisters in the fifth and final season of @younetflix.
As the season unfolds, Camp switches so seamlessly from a high-strung conniving girlboss (Reagan) into a meek, unempowered pill-popper (Maddie) that it’s hard to believe you’re watching one actor do both. Link in bio to read our interview in full.
