Over the past couple of months, I’ve shifted my social media focus away from being primarily fight-related to sharing a glimpse of who I truly am—a mother, partner, dog mum 🐾 and homebody. I’ve also involved you in some of the projects I’m working on around the house. This journey has been as much for me as it has been for all of you. Fighting has been a significant part of my identity, dominating my life and my family’s for many years. The situation with @globalfightleague left many of us feeling uncertain, which wasn’t ideal for me at this stage in my career. The last few months have been filled with uncertainty about my next steps, but they’ve also provided me an opportunity to step back, reflect and truly appreciate the beautiful life I have outside of fighting. One thing I’ve always known though, is that I’m not done with fighting yet. This highlight video was created to use in my introductory mentoring sessions to help me earn respect from the youth groups I’m working with. Do you think they’ll see me as a badass? All I know is that it got their attention and made them listen to what I was saying 😂 Anyway, I’m back in fight camp – right where I belong 🫶🏽
