As a kanaka maoli (Native Hawaiian), I care deeply about our oceans. Being involved in the upcoming #ReefBuilders documentary, and having the opportunity to act as an associate producer on the film, has been an incredibly special experience. 🌎💙 ‘Reef Builders’ spotlights Sheba Hope Grows™ Program, part of the world’s largest reef restoration program, led by Mars Sustainable Solutions. This program has continued to grow, and I am proud to highlight the contributions of over 200 reef builders who are working to restore this vital marine ecosystem across the globe; including the @kuleanacoral team in Hawaiʻi! I first started working with Sheba Hope Grows in 2023, so it is BEYOND exciting to be sharing this monumental chapter of reef restoration with you all. See you all at the global premiere next week! 🥰🤿🪸🐠 #ReefBuilders #ShebaHopeGrows #reefrestoration
Eighty years after the devastating atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the world still lives under the nuclear shadow. Conflicts are raging in regions with nuclear weapons, and leaders are investing precious resources in even more nuclear weapons. It doesn’t have to be this way. I proudly stand with others across the cultural community to honor the victims and survivors and call on leaders to ensure a nuclear weapon is never used again. No more Hiroshimas. No more Nagasakis. #CultureAgainstNukes
