The calm in their hearts, their attentive kindness, and the beauty of their surrender to Allah. It humbled me to realize how many are far better than I am.
Whether they were family, friends or strangers I crossed paths with on the road to Mina, in the midst of the ocean of people near the Kaabah, or in the peaceful streets of Madinah, I remember them. āØ
