Two of my most beloved songs from the upcoming album are out today: “Água E Sal” and “The Woman In Me.” Have a close listen at the link in bio. These songs took a long, long time to be born, and to finally arrive here. It was an honor to collaborate with @casadilego on both, and with the extraordinary Berlin-based choir @cantusdomus on the latter. These tracks reach deep into the soul of this Sicilian “worker in songs,” and having these incredible artists lend their voices opened doors I could never have imagined. I’ll share more about both pieces in the coming days. For now, keep in mind: “Água E Sal” is both a love song and a grief prayer — about oceans that can never again be crossed, yet also a hymn to life. “The Woman In Me” is about the archipelago of Self we all carry: islands that long to be bridged to one another.
