April cracked me open in the best way. The retreat we held in Portugal this year was next level, energetically. I didn’t choose Portugal, I was called. I kept telling Jason, “I don’t know why im being shown Portugal,” but I followed that pull with full trust, like I am committed to always do.
Maybe my subconscious mind didn’t want to go back. The last time I was here, I said goodbye to a baby I never got to meet. I walked through a hard procedure and a deeper grief than I knew how to name. I didn’t realize I was being asked to return, to face that wound and heal so I could make space for my daughter. Looking back, God’s plan was flawless.
I conceived my daughter on this trip. Healing is that way- it creates space- and when you create space, life rushes in. Her due date, 1.1, is the same date the baby I lost here passed on. Signs.
I feel deep gratitude for the trust I put into God’s calling on my life, for alignment and for timing. I will always miss the little souls that I lost and wonder what and who they could have been, but I already feel this star child healing me, from the inside out. I already see the wheel of life turning and as the purpose in the madness reveals itself to me more and more, I’m called deeper into faith and trust.
