Dana Alexa Instagram – Here’s me finding out I was pregnant in a Target bathroom in the middle of manhattan. lol Backstory: we were staying in the tiniest apartment in midtown and Jason is SO NOSEY- so I knew if I brought the test back and/or tested at home he’d be all up in my business and I wanted to be able to surprise him. lol. This was literally the first month we decided we were open to trying for another baby, so that is where some of the shock was hitting 😂 We also found out about Everest on the exact same day two years prior – so the Full Circle was CRAZY.
Here are some of the signs, both spiritual and supertitious, that lil mama was a girl before we confirmed it 🩷🫶🏽🤰🏻
1. When I found out (in this clip) “American Girl” was playing on the radio
2. A lady bug crawled out of the vent and hung out on the ceiling while I waited for the test to say positive 🐞
3. From the get go every single person that we told said “it’s a girl” – not even a single question or hesitation, every single person
4. I had few cravings with Everest but they were all salty- with her, the cravings are sweet (and I hate sweets)
5. Her heart rate was always over 140
6. When we brought the envelope to the bakery to get the gender reveal cake made, the business next door was called “girl talk”
7. When I was shopping for gender reveal decor for her party, I picked up some napkins and mixed in with the plain was a pack of “it’s a girl” napkins.
8. Our first ultrasound was in the pink, “it’s a girl” room.
9. This pregnancy was COMPLETELY different – honestly I feel so much better than I did when I was in pregnant with Ever.
10. Jays mom predicted we would have a boy and a girl way back when I was pregnant with Everest 🥰
