Danielle Robay Instagram – Fellowship is an opportunity, to learn, to grow, and to walk alongside someone whose work has shaped the world. I’m incredibly humbled to be named Gloria Steinem’s fellow.
I first met Gloria through her words. (She wrote my favorite book dedication of all time.) And now, to be able to soak up her wisdom in person is the honor of my life.
One of Gloria’s most famous quotes is that “we are linked, not ranked.” and that truth has guided my own work. If you’ve ever read my writing, listened to one of my interviews, or sat across from me, you know this: most questions I ask are an attempt to reveal that regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any identifier…we are all linked.
Gloria’s work has always been about equality; not just for women, but for anyone who’s ever been denied opportunity or dignity. So many of the rights or norms that feel like a given today (for all people) exist because of the women’s movement. Each generation tries to push the work further, and my hope is to carry that spirit forward under her mentorship to contribute something meaningful to her life and legacy. | Posted on 27/Aug/2025 00:35:43
