Jagger stepped in as Rolf just a week before the show, and Phoenix — my shining Liesl — met him with such joy and ease. Watching them rehearse all week, support one another, and then light up the stage together… it’s hard to explain how much that meant to me as their mama. ❤️
Their connection and energy felt like pure magic. The second slide shows the start of the scene, right before their “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” duet, and every time I watch it, my heart swells all over again. 💫
