One of their top targets? Medicaid.
Medicaid is jointly funded by states and the federal government and covers more than 79 million people, including almost 2 million people in Massachusetts. Life carries lots of risks, writes Warren. If the program is cut, the harm will echo through nearly every home in America, and the cuts to health care programs would be devastating.
