It’s been quite a year for all of us. Heartbreak, triumph, pain, happiness, anger, and all the other emotions in between. Something I’ve learned is I deserve all of these emotions and it’s my responsibility to respect them and choose how I react to them. It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever done and the easiest all at the same time; that is to Live MY LIFE FOR ME! Something through my recovery journey and therapy helped open myself up to the truth of who I am, something fully changed in me. It made me happy. Truly, now I make the right decisions for myself and the people I love. I’m not perfect and that’s ok. Cause I have been torn and damaged and beaten and etc…. BUT that’s no longer all I remember. I have a beautiful family and friends and support and I Am respecting myself! I wish us all the best New Year! No new year new me. Just New Year New way of taking care of me! 💜👑
