Puisque l’action se déroule pendant la Fashion Week de Paris, elle a suivi un stage auprès des petites mains de la maison Chanel, dans les ateliers de haute couture, alors que de son propre aveu, elle a plutôt l’habitude de « ne pas repasser ses vêtements et sauter dans un tee-shirt avec inscription “swag” ». En 2018, la réalisatrice Alice Winocour était sa marraine à la soirée des Révélations des César. Depuis, Garance Marillier « manifeste pour tourner avec elle ».
