Golden Brooks Instagram – “Rose Tinted Nostalgia” is a film The Next Level has been developing for the past 11 months. This first cohort comprising of Script-to-Screen Alumni looking to forge their path as writers, actors, directors and producers has been a success. “Bully” Director David Mahmoudieh took on this project and has brought TNL’s script to life. Justin Cornwell has also returned to be in a KITS film as “Detron” reconnecting with youth on set. Special thanks goes out to TNL acting mentor Jason Mimms who played “Denzel” and helped bring on Golden Brooks for her role as “Mecca.” Also to Tamera Love who has always been a liaison to Universal Studios for the KITS family and helped secure the Universal backlot location. This production forged so many connections and opportunities for The Next Level.
