Jhansi Instagram – 1st year of our Mud wall..
This is a statement wall at
“WABI SABI” our humble farm home.
Not a single crack or chip. It retained it’s colour and texture intact.
Wattle and daub structure with cow dung and mud plaster “అలుకు”
The wall was a great learning experience.. It cracked up while drying and I went adventurous with the finish plaster, because by then the masons team moved out. Patience is an important requirement.
The lotus art is also done with various natural materials mud, lime, brick, charcoal. All colours intact. Art contributed by @bhanu_bollapalli.
