Joely Richardson Instagram – As the last post was dedicated to costumes and design, this one is for the magic of hair and makeup artistry. On my brief visit to ‘Downton Abbey’ I got to work with 2 fabulous artists- @lornastimson and @vellismakeupandhair (we worked together on ‘Gentlemen ‘ season 1). I thought I’d show pictures of the steps and different looks ( Sabrina vs lady Petersfield ). It’s such an intimate and creative process deciding on the character .
