As the Founder and President of Women in Film and Television Africa, she is the driving hand behind the establishment and growth of WIFT chapters across the continent—creating an interconnected network of empowered women changing the narrative in film, TV, and media.
She is also the powerhouse behind Ascend Studios Foundation and the continent-defining platforms: Africa Creative Market (ACM), Africa Creative Blueprint, and more—each designed to upskill, connect, and mobilize Africa’s next generation of storytellers and innovators.
From securing a $1 million creative training grant to leading U.S. diplomatic entrepreneurship programs, Inya’s impact has shaped policy, empowered thousands, and redefined access to capital, platforms, and global visibility for women across sectors.
